Catching the Spotlight

We had another great week of fishing. Joseph (top left) caught these trout out of Lake 4 on Powerbait. Jack and his wife ( top right, wife not pictured) caught their limit of trout out of Lake 3 on Powerbait. Sally (bottom right) was trout fishing and ended up with a 9 pound 15 ounce largemouth out of Lake 4 on Powerbait. Jarrad (bottom left) caught these trout out of Lake 4 on Powerbait. There is only one more scheduled stock left for trout season so be sure to come out and try your luck. Starting March 10th we will be extending the park hours and will now close at 7 o’clock.

There is only one scheduled stock left for trout season. This week there were more reports of trout on mini jigs and spoons rather than Powerbait. Catfish season is quickly approaching! Opening weekend will take place on April 7th and 8th.
