The river is flowing at about 365 cfs right now, the weather this past week was pretty sketchy so we didn’t have too much activity on the river but the few reports we did get weren’t too bad. It seems like with the higher water the streamer action has improved and the small nymphs and midges are also still doing well. With this higher water you’ll need to add some lead to get your bugs down near the bottom where the fish are hanging out, this is very important. There still seems to be lots of nice rainbows in the upper mile, all very healthy and feisty. It looks like the weather is going to be pretty good this coming week so I’d expect the fishing to be pretty good as well. With the flows over 350 be careful wading, there will be areas where you probably won’t be able to get to like you can when the flows are lower.
