Alsea River Fishing Report

Winter steelhead fishing is slow. Best opportunities for hatchery fish are in the upper river near Alsea Hatchery. A mix of wild and hatchery fish are being caught throughout the Alsea. Casting spinners, drifting bait or using a bobber and jig can be effective.
