http://www.countyofsb.org/parks/cachuma.sbcHere is this week's Fishing Report! Our 23rd annual Fishign Derby was this weekend and was a HUGE success! We still have a lot of fish to be caught though! We have Rainbow trout up to 9lbs. and beautiful Crappie from 1/2 lbs. to 2 1/2 lbs. Small and Large Mouth Bass are also biting great. Nightcrawlers have been working for most fish as well as Rapala's and Flicker Shads. Due to warm water temps, trout are near the surface (2-5 ft.). Bass are starting to spawn. Large and small mouth bass are catching along most banks near brush/reeds. Medium to large white and black Crappie are still being caught daily, especially trolling along the mountain ridge to the right of Cachuma Bay. With our current rains, the lake level has risen! We are just over 40% of capacity with about 130 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for their hard work. Visit our marina and talk with our friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sam, Jake, Chris and Caleb are always on hand to give you the latest fishing information! We look forward to seeing you! Check out 805webcam for: weather conditions and scenic views.
