Up on Lake Mohave the small mouth bass are becoming active and I have been hearing some over 3 pounds. The smallies or Smallmouth Bass and the Largemouth Bass are pretty much a game fish. What I mean that most anglers that target these usually catch and release. Your stripers and trout are more for the dinner table not saying that the Largemouth Bass aren’t good eating as they are but they are more considers a sport fish for most. No word on stripers on the lake as of yet but the Catfish bite should be working there soon.
