Catfish action has been good following the recent catfish plant by the Nevada Department of Wildlife. The bluegill and bass bites have been sporadic with the best action taking place in the early morning hours and after sundown. Night crawlers and mealworms have been catching the fish. NDOW asks anglers to dispose of unwanted fishing line in the recycle bins provided at the parks or in rubbish bins.

The bass bite slowed just a bit this past week, with lots of fish schooled up, and chasing bait out in open water. There is still a lot of action on drop shot plastics in 20' to 30' of water just about anywhere you want to fish. Bluegill are still biting for those targeting them, although the quality has diminished as the average fish is only about 0.33 of a pound. Mealworms, and red worms fished under a bobber at......
