The weather has been hot and beautiful and the fish are biting! Rainbow Trout were coming up between 30 & 35 ft, caught around the dam and in Johnson Bay. They love garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie have been a little slower this week and are usually hiding out around the reeds. Try using the Atomic Tubes. They have been working wonders as well as crappie jigs. Large & small bass were mouth being caught all around the lake. Trolling toward the east and near the Dam seemed to be the best places. Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish were still elusive week but some were still being caught near the dam and the coves around the Marina.

Mackerel has been a popular choice. Bluegill were being caught but not in the numbers of last week. Hook & worm are working nicely on boats and off shore. We are at 30% capacity here at the lake with about 115 ft of water at Bradbury Dam. Our weather has been very warm but not enough to stop the fish from biting. We only had wind 1 day. The rest of the week was calm!
