Rainbow trout are being caught in larger numbers this week, around the dam and in Johson Bay at about 35 ft. They love garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie have been doing better this week, we've seen 2 to 3 pounders! They're usually hiding out around the reeds. Atomic Tubes work great as well as crappie jigs. Large & Small Mouth Bass were being caught all around the lake. One 5 pounder was caught on Saturday!

Trolling the deeper waters is best. Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish were being caught in more numbers this week. 3 and 4 pounders were being caught near the dam and the coves around the Marina. Mackerel has ben a popular choice. Bluegill & Redear were very slow this week but a few were caught. Hook & worm are working nicely on boats and off shore. We are at 25% capacity here at the lake with about 110 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Come visit our bait shop for any tackle and bait you may need.
