The Fish Report - July 24, 2008
Water Conditions: Good
There should be few crowds this week in the Loop. No holiday and temps in the 70's should keep you and the fish happy. Water temps are still in the 60's.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good
June Lake has been decent on the Marina side. Tow some streamers and don't be afraid to try some large bait fish patterns. Silver Lake has still been quite productive for anglers still water nymphing the weed edge on the south west corner. Grant was kind to me at the inlet stripping heavily hackled black or purple buggers. If you don't pick up fish there try the points fishing deep. Recent stockings of Alpers should help keep the action in the Loop exciting.

Guides Hint: Fish multiple places on the Loop in one day. Besides giving yourself a change of view, changing locations will many times help you catch more fish.
