The Topock Marsh is your go to spot for both Largemouth Bass and Channel Cats. In the marsh it’s a good bet to try white or green spinner baits, these colors work well in that area. We have some trout news. Our Game and fish dept. will be stocking Rainbow Trout. This was done with the prompting of our abatement department manager to help with the caddis fly population. These rainbows will be of catchable size and we are getting a bunch of them around the first part of September. Our federal hatchery, the Willow Beach Hatchery will start stocking in October I hope to have an update on about when once they have a schedule. The hatchery has a new manager and he is working with his crew on the details of the stocking of trout for our area.
