http://www.newloansportfishing.comWe got in this morning from our annual Labor Day 1.5 invitational trip.
The day was pretty darned slow with only a couple of 40#ers in the grey, and a 195# communal kite fish in the afternoon.
Luckily, as the sun went down, the fish went on the bite. Ken Corwin started things off with a 216# on the flatfall, while we landed a pair of 60-80#ers. After that we stayed busy short stopping until midnight on beautiful bluefin tuna. The msjority of the fish were 70-130#, with a few smaller ones and capped off by a 217 by Chris Yamada. We also picked up a couple of fish in the 190# class, including a 199.
At nights end, we had a very respectable 19 fish from 40 to 217 for our 20 anglers, 5 of which were from 193 to 217#.
Awesome!
