Lake Marie has been stocked several times this year and should be a good place to go to cool off. Fishing for trophy size fish recently was very good and anglers using wooly buggers did well. Most anglers use PowerBait or worms to catch trout and yellow perch. The local STEP hatchery released clipped rainbow trout into Lake Marie in the spring of 2017.
