The bass bite has been fair to good on drop shotted plastics in 25' to 40' of water in main lake areas.  There are still wolf packs chasing bait out in open water throughout the day, but have proven to be a bit difficult to catch.  These fish are keyed in on 1/2" bait so adjust your offerings accordingly.  Hand size bluegill still on tap in the backs of coves such as Barona Arm, and were reportedly taking pieces of nightcrawlers in front of a split shot.
