http://www.cortezcharters.comThe sailfish bite is slowly but surely picking up some steam with the
boats now averaging about 1.5 per boat day fished. The dorado counts
have slowed up a little, but the quality has been getting better and
better. Overall counts for 16 offshore fishing days resulted in 2
stripers, 24 sailfish, 1 mako shark and one near 50 lb. dorado. The
super pangas, reporting for 7 days fished reflected 3 sailfish and 18
dorado.
Mazatlan Climate: Mostly cloudy with temps from 78 nights to 92
daytime highs and scattered PM and night rains.
Sea Conditions: Generally, calm, with temps at 87 inshore and
decreasing to 85 offshore, light, tropical breezes.
Best Fishing Area: Generally, about 20 miles is where the beginning
is and trolling outbound to the southwest to about 25-28 miles.
