http://www.fishingvideos.com"We got ???em the first day," said chartermistress Sherry Ingles after the five-day Royal Polaris trip with 35 anglers. Skipper Billy Santiago Jr. docked the boat at Fisherman's Landing August 9.
"On the second day we had run and gun fishing on the kelps. It was good fishing on decent-sized fish. We went to Benitos to scratch some yellowtail on the third day, and the next day they really lit up. I lost my best yellowtail of the trip to a sea lion.
"Our last day of fishing was at San Martin. We got one good halibut there. This was our 14th annual Queen of Hearts trip on the RP."
Denny Du Gal of Modest won first place for a 36-pound yellowtail. Gene Coombs of San Mateo took second place for a 33-pounder, and Seth Williams of Arbuckle got third place for a 30.1-pound yellowtail.
