For those interested, the mouth of the Russian River self Breached last night. Unfortunately it is still closed to fishing due to the low flow closure but keep an eye out for any salmon swimming up river and pray for rain!!

The staff from King's checked in! There's Shad in them there waters!! I have now gotten reports of American Shad being caught at both JB and Casini on flies and spinners. Flows are slowly dropping but still above 1500 cfs. There are also downstream steelhead being caught as well for all of us that missed that season entirely!! Clarity is murky green at 2+ feet.......
