The water temperature is slowly decreasing as the inversion layer causes the colder water to rise to thesurface. Catfish are hitting on worms/mackerel pretty much everywhere along the bottom. Both large and small mouth bass are showing up along shorelines and points, They are on topwater until the afternoon and as the day goes on, they dive down to around 20 feet. Swimbaits, plastic worms, night crawlers and deep diving crankbaits are all great for bass here. Bright colors or......

The water is getting colder by the day as we enter the winter season. Catfish bite has been very strong lately! Lots of mid size cat fish coming up off the bottom on any stinky bait. Bass are slowing down due to the inversion. They are caught anywhere on the lake around the shoreline but are going deeper Rainbow trout are coming closer to the top of the water column.
