We are awaiting yet another trout plant this week and hopefully they will stock a little more trout than the first one. There has been some striper action on trout swimbaits with fish ranging from schoolie size to larger models. Some anglers have been having luck soaking a nightcrawler or anchovy in deeper waters. Others have reported some stripers on shad imitation baits being trolled or worked over main points. For the largemouth it has been a little tough lately. If you can find a wolf pack there has been some good-sized bass to be caught. Some bass have been caught on a plastic worm on the dropshot, best colors being oxblood and shad colors. For the catfish action it has pretty much slowed down with the water temp. dropping. There have been some accidental cats caught on a soaked anchovy however. The bluegill and crappie remain tough to catch, but you can rustle one up out of the brush with a wax worm or small jig.

No catfish were reported to the concession last week. ......
