With calmer seas most of the party boat fleet finally were able to get out in more favorable waters with their clients. With the weather finally laid back the party boats saw great action for Dungeness crab and rockfish counts. For example the Huck Finn, Salty Lady, Sea Wolf and Tigherfish took a combined 121 anglers out and scored full limits of crab (1210), full limits of rockfish along with 13 ling cod to 15 pounds. The crab counts continue to hold strong and will continue throughout the month of December.

The striped bass fishing out on the Delta waterways remains very good for those at anchor tossing their favorite bit of choice, but the salmon fishing has slowed down considerably over the past week although there are still some fish moving through the system into the upper river.
