The first fishing weekend of the season is in the books, and boy was it fun! The first couple days of the season saw wet rainy conditions, but that didn’t stop anglers from wetting a line and catching a lot of fish. Sunday had much better conditions, and fishing was just as good. So far the catch has been a mix of Rockfish species and Ocean Whitefish. Some Lingcod have been caught but no big numbers just yet. After a long two month closure, anglers were just happy to be back doing what they love to do. Let’s go fishing!
