http://www.americananglersportfishing.comSince we were held prisoners at the Island by the wind for most of this trip, it was nice to finally get out and stretch our legs offshore. Since there hasn't been much coverage in the past few days we consider ourselves very fortunate to find an area of 12-16lb yft that offered us up some morning action.

We traveled up in the morning to the island and messed around in the lee. We had a couple of handfulls of halibut and one nice yellowtail landed by Patrick McAvoy. The guys [gallery ids="2243"]......

With the choppy weather above the island, we traveled the other way and enjoyed a beautiful day on the ocean. As far as the fishing is concerned it wasn't easy and took some looking around but we finally got it together and settled in and had steady fishing on yellows.
