Life as we know is all about timing and today was a day that they were not really cooperative - we saw some incredible foamers and watched them next to the boat but they were so keyed in on the chovies that we only managed a handful of fish. Yet another annual Catchy Tackle trip led by John Grindley comes to an end and words cannot describe the solidarity of this group of regulars as the word "click" is not part of our vocabulary.

Today was one of those weather days one wishes that they could put in the copy machine and run copies for every day ever spent on the water. Flat calm and very little wind made our time on the ocean a pleasure. Unfortunately fishing conditions were not beneficial for what we had planned, and with no wind and very little current, it was tough to pursue halibut and sea bass as most times that we stopped we could not cover very much......
