In picture perfect weather today we got started with a nice sample of wahoo, even though we didn't wet our lines til after lunch we still managed to keep the excitement high with a few nice go arounds on wahoo. A nice way to begin the trip, but we have much more on our wish list and without a doubt the remainder of the time down here looks pretty promising. The super star of the day is Molly Bishop with not only her first wahoo but this 72lb beast hooked and landed all by herself. We are going to spend the night and try our luck again tomorrow.

Traveling down We took advantage of today's beautiful weather and spent it traveling down to the grounds. The gang spent lots of time rigging up and getting ready for tomorrow's festivities. With more good weather ahead of us we have every intention of making the most of it. Excited The guys......

The guys drew the short straw and were the 4:30am boat today - as there were 8 long range boats arriving this morning. They worked hard for their catch on this 3 day trip and everyone was rewarded by taking home fish. A huge thanks to Mike Naoe for the beautiful rods he wrapped and raffled off and the other goodies as well. Looking forward to next year!
