Though the competition was high, we managed to bob and weave our way into a few nice stops on school size yellowfin. Feeling we had our fix just after lunch and with just one day left, we decided to make a short move in hopes of putting a few trophies aboard.

Finding ourselves rolling around with a bit more breeze and even with our now optimum fishing conditions, it just wasn't enough to keep the ball rolling. With just a couple handfuls of yellows by late afternoon, we came to the realization that today wasn't going to happen. Lucky After a nice start up kit on yellowfin tuna yesterday afternoon, we decided to make a quick shift of gears and switch over to Yellowtail mode. Already ahead of the game, today we were able to be patient and piece together a very long day of scratchy Yellowtail fishing.
