It was one of those days that many have not experienced for a long while....the kind of action where there are a few going all day - just drifting and plunking away til dark. For this Catchy Tackle group (with a strong 90% return rate), it was a breath of fresh air as these folks have been taunted by these tuna for the past 3 seasons. Mother Nature is smiling down on them again tomorrow so check back in.

Capt. Ray and guys rolled back in from Rocky's Opener this morning with a beautiful catch of Bluefin and yellowtail. The yellowtail were quality size and the Bluefin ranged from 18-71.8lbs. This group of regulars (a few new guys -friends of Rocky in the business of saving lives and property) were all in high spirits and the camaraderie was evident. After being deterred by the wind, we most definitely had our work cut out for us. Luckily, with better working weather and a couple of team player code boats, we were able to narrow them down fairly fast and get right back in the saddle. Once again they became user friendly which was right up our alley and more than anything, we are super thankful to have such awesome opportunities on these beautiful 18-28lb bluefin.
