With a day of travel out of our system yesterday, we couldn't wait for the sun to go down before getting down on some hot night time Yellowtail action. While most of the world was sleeping, we were yanking and cranking - with lots of coffee required but definitely worth the price of admission. It involved techniques that many may not be fond of, but when the quality was as consistent as it was last night, no one even blinked an eye.
Mid morning rolled around and the pace slowed down but not before everyone was lucky enough to get a very nice start up kit. Feeling a little sleepy we are going to bed early and try it again tonight.

Those local Bluefin hit today and we just happen to have 7 spots on our 1.5 day trip departing next Tuesday, June 19 - come fishing.. it's the last 1.5 day of the year with any availability on the American Angler......

No love Today we were back on the hunt for what has been the more cooperative bluefin grounds, unfortunately we learned very quickly today that wasn't going to be the case today. Definitely not for the lack of sign, it was just a matter of the good ole lockjaw mode. Stopping time after time for virtually no love and only a few bites, we had seen enough by mid afternoon and decided to get traveling down in hopes of greener pastures. Positivity The......
