Fish Report for 10-6-2018

We started the day with a little more breeze but hit it hard in the am hours, managing a decent catch on 16-25# yt. After lunch conditions fell apart so we scratched and clawed our way through the pm til it was time to head out.

10-6-2018Waking up to a little more breeze than we like, we tightened our baseball caps and fished over the side for a few hours. With yellowtail on the menu, the gang enjoyed a couple hours of winding their jigs and catching a few until they lunchtime when they quit biting and it was time for us to move on. Another nice day down on the tuna grounds. A little change in our biting schedule - once again we had a good showing on 15-40# yft, then our conditions fell apart after lunch so the wahoo never showed, but we still had a fun day doing some yanking and cranking. We've had a nice couple days down here on the grounds - changing zip codes and headed up the line. Tying on our yo-yo jigs The guys ...... Read More
