http://www.kenssport.comThe river is still running at about 19 cfs right now. The snowy weather has let up a bit with some nice days this past week that produced some very good fishing! We had several reports coming in of anglers getting into 15 to 25 fish per day, both on the California and Nevada sides of the border. It seems to still be mainly nymphing right now, with some limited success on streamers here and there. We haven’t heard any news on dries but there should start to be some stonefly action, at least on the Nevada side any day now. With the lower water it’s best to still be focusing on the deeper pools and runs where the fish are more concentrated. Most of the fish being reported are in the 10 to 15 inch range but there’s also been some good fish in the 18 to 20 inch range being caught here and there. Traffic has still been pretty light, this is the time of year when we usually see some increase in the flows so keep you eye out for that, when this happens typically the fishing just gets better.
