Yo-yo'd jigs was the preferred method to get a bite but there were surface opportunities also. Sunday's trip is a definite run and requires a passport or passport card for all passengers.
Half-day trips depart daily at 6:00am and 12:30pm. Saturday morning the NEW SEAFORTH caught 57 Vermilion rockfish, 158 Rockfish, 1 Whitefish, 1 Sheephead and 1 Sculpin. The afternoon run caught 106 Vermilion rockfish, 32 Rockfish, 1 Whitefish and 2 Sheephead.

Update 10:45am: The San Diego is up to 20 yellowtail! Captain Ryan of the San Diego just called in with our first Full Day Yellowtail of the season! They have 13 Yellowtail out of their first stop of the day. These fish were caught on the yo-yo and dropper loop rigs. Ryan recommends you have an ample supply of 6x Jr's and a minimum of 30# line. Sunday's trip is a definite run, so make your reservations now and get in......

The SAN DIEGO resumes full day trips to the Coronado Islands on Saturday March 16th departing at 5:30am. They will be targeting Yellowtail, Lingcod and Rockfish. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers.Half-day trips depart daily at 6:00am and 12:30pm. Friday's fishing included a morning trip on the NEW SEAFORTH catching 10 vermilion rockfish and 60 rockfish for 17 anglers. The afternoon run captured 43 vermilion rockfish, 38 rockfish and 10 whitefish for 24 anglers.......
