http://www.shogunsportfishing.comGuadalupe Island can be a hit or miss location and today was a hit, granted not a big one but we had steady action fishing tuna. After a slow start Norman made a move putting the boat among eager yellowfin in favorable current. A mid day bite, slow and steady kept interest up until we lost the current and the tuna backed off. The tax man made his appearance, but he kept his charges to a minimum. A 40# tuna chomped in half, individual teeth over 2 inches wide...no sitting on the rail, both feet firmly on the deck! Another move and just a few more tuna and yellows finished the day. Tomorrow we will finish off the trip looking for tuna closer to home, one last chance before arriving Sunday morning.
