The bass bite has been consistent this past week, with fish in all stages of the spawn now. Senkos, Texas rigs, swimbaits, etc. all produced. Bluegill are starting to come on strong, and the anglers targeting them have been rewarded with some nice palm sized gills for their efforts. The backs of coves, and cuts have been the best areas for the panfish, and nightcrawler the best bait.

The bluegill have started to come on pretty strong this past week, and the anglers that targeted them were rewarded with fish to 2lbs. weighed in at the dock. There were also a few red ear mixed in with the gills, both species were biting red worms and nightcrawlers. As usual with the panfish , locations were closely guarded. Largemouth are still all over the bank, but the better fish have been holding in the 15’ to 20’ of water.......

The Bass bite was good last week, and should get better as the lake warms. The backs of coves have been the best, but there are fish seemingly all over the lake in the 1’ to 12’ of water. Fly lines plastics, Texas rigs and drop shots have been the way to go. With the exception of a few redder, panfish went unreported last week, as did catfish. ......
