We decided on this trip to stick it out in the "closer to home" stock area from the last few weeks and were pleased with steady, throughout the day action. We had a medium paced plunker bite mid morning going 13 for about 18 hookups on excellent grade 50 to 90 pound bluefin. Shortly after that we saw some more schools that were uncooperative until the afternoon we picked up 20 or so of the small to medium grade 20 to 30 pound fish on a few different stops totaling 33 bluefin tuna for the day!
