Today’s Fish Count: 10 Boats and 251 Anglers.
 

2,025 Rockfish, 550 Whitefish, 32 Lingcod, 35 Sheephead, 9 Sculpin, 11 Halibut, 15 Calico Bass, 5 Barracuda, 57 Yellowtail, and 38 White Seabass.

Two out of the three days of a holiday weekend is not bad. Boats got out in nice conditions Saturday, and then fished in fair conditions Sunday. But Monday is going to be a “no go” because of wind. A front moved through the Channel Islands bringing a few minutes of much needed rain, but the wind behind it is going to be special. All of the boats here are officially cancelled for Memorial Day, but with any luck they will be back on the water Tuesday or Wednesday. Fishing has been very good as of late, and the captains would love to stay on top of these fish!
