The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend! Sweetwater Bay is hopping from the shore! Bass and crappie were caught using jigs and night crawlers. Catfish were caught in the bay off of a boat using the same bait. One angler took a chartreuse crappie jig and put a 1/4 of a garlic night crawler on the hook and caught over 10 crappie trout and bass off the shore. One June 9 trout were caught using lead core, 4 colors, trolling with a day glow needle fish. Bass are being caught drifting night crawlers from a boat.

What a great week for fishing! The weather was windy and rainy but that didn’t stop the anglers. On May 26, 24 bass were caught on white and chartreuse spinner bait. On the same day another angler caught 3 bass on Kastmasters and 6 bass on rattle traps and Rapalas. Bass and crappie are in sunken trees and deep water. A trout was caught by a young girl using nightcrawlers and it was 20 inches and 3 pounds. One May......

Fishing is picking up! On May 19, a young angler and his father caught a bunch of trout, bass and crappie on night crawlers off of the rocky shore. 2 good sized catfish were caught in Harvery’s Cove on night crawlers. Largemouth bass were caught on spinners and soft plastics. 2 trout were caught 50 yards off the wall, lead core, multi colored 5 or 6 colors. 3 bass were caught top water with bright colored Rapalas. 3 crappie were......
