The weather has been heating up making the fish become more active. The bass can now be seen causing the shore mid-day.The bass have been feeding more in the early mornings and late evenings on topwater lures such as rats or frogs. The catfish have moved to deeper water to stay cool. The south side of the lakes have been producing fish for the fisherman.
The bass have been biting on soft plastics such as senkos and robo worms. Justin caught this 7.56 pound bass on a senko. Popular spots for bass have been the east side of Lake 3 and the west side of Lake 5. The catfish have been biting on mackerel and shrimp. Popular spots for catfish have been the southeast corner of Lake 2 and the east side of Lake 4. Out next scheduled stock will be Friday, June 21st.
