Getting started right at daylight, the fish showed signs of wanting to cooperate and even though it still wasn’t a gimme as far as getting a bite everyone had a full days worth of opportunity.
One thing to remember is that you get can't get any bites if you're not on the water. So when times like today present themselves, you can take full advantage and capitalize.
