The temperature at El Capitan this last week was extreme. The morning and afternoon bass bite is still good. Still a lot of bluegill biting about 10 feet deep and 10 feet off shore near vegetation. Still hearing tales of crappie biting. Very strange for this time of year!

All the shad this year is really improving the size of the bass. 5-6 pound bass being caught daily here......
