Flows are at 140 cfs as of 10/24
Fishing conditions and Hatches: Fair-Good
Nothing's changed as far as water quality, the key is watch the wind direction and give it a day after a west or southwest wind before heading up there. If the wind blows out of the west the algae gets pushed to the dam, creating a bright green river but once the wind switches it becomes quite fishable. That combined with the flows dropping could make the fish a lot spookier. The midges are now back to normal and the BWOs emergence is getting stronger, lasting 2-3 hours. Also very soon the perch fry will starting getting flushed through the pipe so make sure you have light colored streamers ready. There are caddis around but they don't seem to be keying on them, most of the action is on mayflies #18-20.
