The Truckee is fishing fantastic, Especially the Nevada side. There are plenty of bugs in the system right now including Blue Wing Olives or Baetis and Sedge Caddis. There have been really good hatches around noon and the nymphing has been off the charts. For nymphing try Baetis in size 16-18 and Caddis in size 16. For the dries size 18 Baetis and size 16 Caddis. Streamer fishing has also been worth a try on most days. We are chomping at the bit to get out on the water and teach anglers how good the fall has been on the Truckee and now we are also offering float trips on the river on the Nevada side.
