http://www.fishingvideos.comYesterday was slow for us at the rocks with a slow pick on school-sized tuna and no sign of bigger ones. So we made a move in to the beach for today. The morning started off with some good action on school sized fish but not really what we came here for. In the afternoon there was scattered sign of cows just about everywhere that we went but they just wouldn't bite. We managed to hook two fish just before dark on sardines pinned to eagle claw 2004 9/0 hooks and 130 pound fluorocarbon. After two epic battles both cows hit the deck. Mike Tanaka landed his personal best at 248 pounds and John Nappo boated a 261-pounder. We will spend the night here and hope the tuna are more user-friendly tomorrow. The weather is now flat calm so lets keep it that way.
