Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be a bit chilly, but the fishing is keep us warm. We had another good day of Yellowfin tuna fishing, to add to our count, Dorado and Wahoo. We had a brief showing of the other two species today. The Yellowfin are just beautiful fish, with most in the 120 to 140 range, and a good number in the 150 to 165 range.
It was about 50/50 kite to fly-line fish again. Big fish honors goes to Rich Voss, with a nice 165 pound Yellowfin tuna. All big fish honors come on fly-line bait, but the majority of the larger fish are coming on the kite.
Weather continues to look like rain, with overcast skies, 8 to 12 knots of breeze today, and chilly.
We had good sign of fish around the boat all day long, just not fisherman. The Yellowfin are breaking down some of our anglers, as the days are getting longer, more mid-day naps are on hand, but that’s a good thing. So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you updated on our daily events. Team R/p
