Stocking: The lake was stocked with 2000 lbs. of trout this week. We will stock another 1500 lbs. of trout the week of February 24th. We will continue to stock every other week until the season concludes in April. The Dept. of Fish and Wildlife have contributed an additional 600 lbs. of trout to the lake since the season opener.
President's Day: The lake will be open 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 17th for boating, fishing, hiking, and more. Make a weekend of it and camp at Lake Jennings! We have Tipi and tent sites still available for the holiday weekend.
What's the catch? With this week's 2000 lb. stock, the trout were active at Hermit Cove, Eagle Cove, and Cactus Patch early in the morning. Inflated nightcrawlers, powerbait worms, and rooster tails seemed to be working for those catching limits. Catfish are deep this time time of year.
Conditions: The water temperature is currently 61.4 degrees.
Just a reminder, dogs are only permitted on Bass Road leading to the campground, in the campground, and the trails from the campground. They are not permitted on the lake or in the water. Please keep them on a 6 foot leash and pick up after your pooch. Much appreciation!

The days are getting longer and the weather is starting to warm up! Campground reservations are picking up for the spring already. We have some full hook-up sites available beginning mid March.
