The steelhead fishing on the Trinity river has been very good this week. I have been guiding the last few days with novice and beginner fly fisherman. By taking things slow with some good instructions things have been going great. We have been hooking several nice fish. This month has been dry and river is low and clear. River has been fairly quiet with guides spread out. We didn't see another boat on our float last two days.I believe some rain could give us another push of fish.i think we should have decent fishing into March. There is still time.
