The East is running at about 50 cfs today. We’ve had some mixed reports from the river this week but I’d still say that 7 or 8 out of 10 anglers are having very good days. The wind the last few days has hindered some of the anglers down there but for the most part the fishing has been very good. The successful anglers have still mainly been using nymphs with just a couple good streamer reports coming in this week. It’s been fairly warm this week with some overcast periods of time and this seems to have helped the fishing. Baetis patterns have probably been doing the best as well as small midge patterns. The Nevada side is producing some fish with stonefly nymph patterns as well.
Patterns to try: Poxyback stone, micro stone, flashback emerger, soft emerger, top secret midge, WD-40, psycho prince, squirmy wormy, rainbow warrior, silver streak, San Juan worm, zebra midge, zuddler, moal leech.
