The ICON has been on fire lately, landing legal fish every trip out. The big fish so far is a 21.05 fish landed by Pat Riley of Lakewood. Yesterday, day one of week 2, Kim Chong of West Covina landed a 19.10 lb fish.

The ICON is running the derby Wed-Sun, and the cost is $50 per person, which includes all entry fees. We have great daily and weekly prizes, with an annual pass going to the largest fish of the first 7 weeks (Jan 21-March 15th), to go along with Bass Pro Shops gift cards donated by TEAM 57/fishingnetwork.net, 2 free Irvine Lake passes donated by Irvine Lake, and a new Kencor rod!! The top 25 will get invited back for a FREE fish off aboard the ICON on Saturday, March 21st. The biggest fish that day will win the "Pot of Gold" jackpot, estimated to be over $1500-$2000, Bass Pro Shops gift cards, 2 free Irvine Lake passes, and a new Kencor rod! The final "Pot of Gold" jackpot will depend on the total number of anglers from opening day to March 15th, of course.
