The fish are currently on the move. Sandy Point gets a little slower each day as the fish start to make their move as the bottom temps are starting to rise the fish will start looking for colder water. There are still some stragglers, and lots of perch there, but the bigger fish are more sporadic. Fish are still in that 20-23ft range. Seeing more fish out deep in McGee near pelican point out deep. That's where most of the fleet has migrated. I've been on the other side of pelican in Big Hilton, there are fish all up and down the point currently. Seeing some fish off Alligator point, and some still in Layton and Six Bays, but way out deep in 30+ feet of water. Bite doesn't start til around 8:30, you might get a few grabs early on larva patterns, but once that sun is overhead by 9 you'll want to be using mostly black and gray, or any combination of the two. Copper Tigers have been getting the job done mid-day after the wind comes up and the hatches shut down.
