Water Conditions: Fair to Good, showing 9 cfs as of 7/16
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good
It's a broken record I swear, I guess I could move some words around, but it still amounts to.......Nothing's really changed except the crowds are getting bigger and the Trico hatch is getting stronger. Maybe it's the pressure or the flows dropping but it's getting a little tougher. Same hatches but the late morning PMD hatches are starting to slow down and the Hoppers are everywhere. First thing it's Midges, Tricos and Caddis followed by PMDs. The Tricos are definitely taking center stage with the female emergence around 8 and the spinner fall 1-2 hours later. With the increase in Hoppers early afternoon has been getting better. Late afternoon into evening has been good especially if the wind stays down. The Caddis can range from a #14 to a #22 so don't be afraid to experiment, including "skating" the bigger ones.
