Hello Everybody! Toady we started in a new zone with Foamers in all directions. We had steady picking on 30-40 pound Bluefin with a couple fish up too 50-60 pounds throughout the first half of the day! After a grat lunch, the sign we had before seemed to scatter out. We still had different spots of birds picking pretty good but the fish were not up as good. Later on in the pm, we ran up on a good bird school and we were on! We started on a long drift and once again we had steady picking on the same grade Bluefin mixed with a few of that 30-45 pound Yellowfin. This was a great stop getting the rest of our passengers bit! Once this school got on the move, we soon followed in search of a good sun-downe bite. As the sun began to go down, we still had very good bird sign and even a few good Flat Spots. With the last bit of light we had left we threw some bait on one last school and some managed to get bit. We got several of that same grade Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna. Overall, today was definitly the best day of fishing we had. The wind did come up to 15 knots once again, but that didn’t seem to slow any of us down. Captain Jeff put us on the fish and Everybody was patient putting in their time to get bit, which ended up with great results! Overall, this has been a great three day trip with an outstanding group! Until next time, good luck and safe travels the the Royal Polaris!
