http://www.ndow.org

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is accepting applications for hunting reservations from those who want to hunt during the first two days of the 2020 duck and goose seasons at the Overton Wildlife Management Area or opening day at the Key Pittman WMA.

Those dates are Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 at the Overton WMA and Oct. 17 at Key Pittman WMA.

To apply for reservations, hunters must complete and submit an official paper application that is available online at www.ndow.org or at the NDOW office in Las Vegas. That office is now open for business at 3373 Pepper Lane near the intersection of E. Sunset and E. Pecos roads in Las Vegas.

Only complete and legible applications will be accepted. Completed applications must be delivered through a postal service to the NDOW Headquarters Office, 6980 Sierra Center Parkway, Suite 120 in Reno. They are due no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 9.

A public drawing will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 30 at the same address. Successful applicants will be notified by mail.

NDOW will begin taking reservations for the remainder of the waterfowl hunting season at the Overton WMA the Monday prior to opening day. Those reservations can be made via telephone from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The number is 855-542-6369.

All reservations, including those acquired through the mail-in application process, must be used prior to reserving another hunt day.

At Key Pittman WMA, reservations for hunting are required only on the opening day of the regular duck and goose seasons.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, and promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. Find us on Facebook, Twitter or visit us at www.ndow.org.
