We are open and practicing social distancing. Please wear your face mask. Thank you for your patience while we disinfect between customers and place no more than 10 people in a group. The annual fishing derby has been postpones to April 17 & 18, 2021.

As of July 31 lake capacity was 76.5%. Mornings are typically foggy and lifts around 9 am. Kayaking is best in the morning because the winds pick up in the afternoon. 3 Largemouth and 2 Smallmouth bass were caught trolling in the middle of the lake on a fire tiger rapala. 17 largemouth bass were caught and 7 crappie on robo worms on the top water. Red ear and bluegill were caught on crappie jigs in Santa Cruz Bay. 8 bluegill were caught using crappie nibbles. 5 largemouth bass were caught in a cove off of Arrowhead Island. 4 bass were caught on plastics location not disclosed. A catfish was caught on a nightcrawler off the island.

Out tackle shop is well stocked for your fishing needs, such as live bait, nightcrawlers and mealworms.

Please no more then 10 people in a group, due to California Covid mandates. Fish are biting all around Arrow Head Island large and smallmouth bass, crappie and catfish were reported caught. Crappie were caught on a crappie spinner jig, flicker shad and mealworms. Catfish were caught on night crawlers. Largemouth and smallmouth bass were caught on inflated night crawlers......
